The topic of period underwear isn’t exactly new. Still, millions of women turn only to pads and tampons because they simply don’t know how period underwear works. So we launched the release of Hanes Comfort, Period underwear with a straight-talking, answers-first out of home and social campaign on National Period Action Day. Alongside the campaign, we decided to put the product in their hands with a special pop-up trade-in truck, where women could trade-in a tampon or pad for a new pair of Hanes Comfort, Period underwear. In just one day, thousands of pairs were given away, and any question about the product was emphatically answered. “Yep, they work.”
